Chicheley’s own beer festival took place in glorious sunshine at The Chester Arms over the weekend of 1st and 2nd July.

There was a wide selection of real ales and ciders, plus hamburgers and sausages to eat.  An eclectic mix of music ranged from a ukulele ensemble, to a band playing late 60s/early 70s classic rock, and a Blues Brothers tribute.  The bands achieved the right sound balance by being loud enough to enjoy, but not too loud to disturb villagers who did not participate.

It was an enjoyable and fun event, for which the management and staff of The Chester Arms are to be congratulated.
