On 7th June, 34 Chicheley residents and friends from neighbouring villages boarded one of Bill's Coaches to travel to The Back Country Living Museum  Those travelling on the coach ranged from 6 months to 90 years old.

We all had a great day at the impressive site, which had just been named top attraction in the UK.   The museum recreates historic industries, and streets representing the 19th Century, 1930s and the 1950-60s.  Many of us enjoyed the excellent fish and chips at a traditional chip shop, a beer at a period pub, or a cup of tea with cake at the cafeteria.  

Our coach driver is to be congratulated on a safe and comfortable journey, while having to deal with torrential rain on the way home.
