Pierre is recognised in the village as an enthusiastic astronomer who has taken excellent photographs of the night sky above Chicheley.  He was Chair of Milton Keynes Astronomical Society for several years.

On 17th June Pierre gave a presentation on astronomy, starting from the earth, and stretching to the most distant reaches of space.  This included Chicheley's usual excellent food.

The event raised £375 towards the upkeep of our ancient and historic church.  Thank you Pierre.
