The above meeting was held at Emberton on Friday 10th October, and was attended by Chris Curtis MP, Ward Councillors, Parish Council and Meeting representatives, and senior Police officers.

Most villages raised concerns over speeding and dangerous driving, but Olney also reported increased shoplifting and anti-social behaviour in its parks.  Many villages have received support to prevent speeding.

Chicheley's concerns raised at the meeting included speeding, dangerous overtaking in the village,  difficulty for pedestrians to cross the A422 safely,  and excessive noise from "racing" vehicles on the A509.  Fly tipping and litter from cars were also mentioned.

All these concerns have been raised many times without action.  Let's hope our concerns are now recognised.
